John first came to Trees Vermont after the Great Ice Storm of 1998 as a technical advisor.

John joined the Trees Vermont team as a Tree Worker/Climber in October of 2004 when we deployed a crew to Southwest Florida to help in the aftermath of hurricanes Charlie, Fran and Jean .

John earned certification as an ISA Certified Tree Worker/Climber Specialist in July of 2008 .

John is active with his local fire department, is a firearms instructor, sits on the board of the Sportsmans' Club of Franklin County and participates with his wife in their shared interests including theater!

John is a valued member of our team. Indeed he is one of our cornerstones. As the senior member of the team we fondly consider him 'Grandpa!"
